Could Slipping Rib Syndrome Be Causing Your Back Pain? This is what I want to know! This isn’t the best article but I think it comes down to either inflamed nerves, joints or muscles. When I hear “referred pain” I get suspicious.

Doctors

Here is a list of surgeons I found on this Reddit thread

Surgeon Bios

Dr. Adam Hansen University of West Virginia

“Expert of experts” on SRS and inventor of the “Hansen Technique” surgical solution. This is the OG. I have an appointment with him on August 12th which is 10 weeks away. Problem is, he has a long waiting list for surgery. Oh well, I’ve come this far, I can wait another few months. I just hope he’s confident that he can remove this knife from my back.

Here’s a good video on Costal Margin Reconstruction surgery from Baylor although his definition of SRS is what scares me. I know I have SRS, but is SRS causing the knife in my back?!

A general illustration but again, the definition “a condition of pain in the lower chest wall”, has me concerned. What if I’m barking up the wrong tree yet again?
